Trabue Russell House
The original brick house of Col. Dan and Mary Trabue was built in 1823-25. Trabue was one of the founders of Columbia and involved in many historic events of the early United States. A garden is kept up by Adair County Garden Club members and Medicinal garden by the Adair County Extension Master Gardeners.

Citizens Park
Columbia KY recently opened a new dog and trail park called Citizen’s Park. The park consists of a 17-acre tract of woods within the city limits. You can find two fenced in areas, one to accommodate large dogs and the other small dogs. There is gazebo located at the park’s entry, directly next to the fenced in areas. Bathrooms are currently under construction an coming soon!
